From Concept to Reality: Creating Our New Leon’s Axe Tomahawk
Ever since the release of the latest part of Resident Evil, we’ve been receiving messages asking the same question: “Will you make Leon’s axe?”
We heard you. And after months of development, experiments, and prototypes, we’re finally excited to show the result – our new Requiem tomahawk. This project became one of the most interesting designs we’ve worked on recently because we wanted to create something that not only looked recognizable, but also felt real in the hand.
Starting From Zero
Every new model begins as an idea. Before steel, wood, or grinding wheels come into play, we start digitally.
The first stage was creating a detailed 3D model of the tomahawk. We carefully adjusted proportions, curves, angles, and dimensions to make sure the silhouette stayed true to the original inspiration while still working as a real object.
But a model on a screen is not enough.
After that, we repeatedly printed prototype versions on a 3D printer to understand how the tomahawk actually feels in the hand. Grip comfort, balance, handle thickness, head proportions – all these things only become clear when you physically hold the piece.

Some versions looked good but felt awkward. Others felt great but needed visual refinements. Step by step, prototype after prototype, the tomahawk slowly evolved into its final form.
Only after that did we move to production.
The Production Process
This stage is always a field of experimentation.
Creating a new tomahawk is never just “forge and done.” We test different materials, surface finishes, edge shapes, textures, and construction methods to find the right balance between appearance and functionality.
This is where the skeleton of the tomahawk is born.

The steel head takes shape first, followed by fitting and refining the structure before moving on to the handle scales and grip elements. During this process, we pay attention not only to durability, but also to tactile feeling – how the handle sits in the hand, how the weight is distributed, and how the overall piece feels during movement.
Many details change during this phase. Tiny adjustments often make the biggest difference.
Bringing the Tomahawk to Life
Once the production version is complete, the final stage begins – photography.
For every new product, we prepare a dedicated photoshoot concept. We select the environment, lighting, props, and atmosphere to match the personality of the tomahawk itself.
Good product photography is not just about showing the shape. It’s about communicating mood, texture, and presence.
After that, we prepare all the important details: specifications, photos, descriptions, and presentation materials. And finally, the moment comes when the new model appears on the website.
More Than Just a New Model
For us, projects like this are exciting because they combine modern inspiration with real craftsmanship. Turning a recognizable fictional design into a physical tomahawk requires far more than simply copying shapes – it’s about translating an idea into something tangible.
And now, after all the sketches, prototypes, experiments, and workshop hours, Leon’s axe has officially become part of our collection!
Thank you all for your interest and trust in us.
We'll keep surprising you.
