Refund policy

We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@ancientsmithy.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

  • Custom orders
  • Sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@ancientsmithy.com.

When returning the goods, the money for shipping is not returned under any circumstances. All shipping costs always on the buyer.

The seller is not responsible for the passing of custom control. All the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country are on the buyer expense. For example, if local Customs don't pass the parcel, the customer pays for shipping back(to seller) and the seller refund money minus shipping cost for both directions and any additional Customs taxes.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Damaged Shipment

What Should You Do If Your Item Arrives Damaged?

We know how excited you must be to receive your order, and we're sorry if the item you received didn't meet your expectations due to damages that occurred during delivery. We want you to be delighted with your purchase, so here's what you can do if your item arrives damaged:

Document the Damage: First and foremost, don't throw away the packaging or the item. We know it's disappointing to receive a damaged item, but it's important that you keep everything as it is. This is because photos or videos of the item and the packaging can prove the damage, which you'll need for the next steps.

Reach Out to Us: Next, contact our customer service team as soon as possible. You can reach us by phone, email at info@ancientsmithy.com, or via our website's contact form. Please provide as many details as possible about the damage. Include the photos or videos you took earlier, as this will help us understand the situation better.

Follow Instructions: Our customer service team will explain the next steps. This could involve returning the item to us or waiting for a courier to pick it up.

Replacement or Refund: Once we've verified the damage, we'll arrange for a replacement item to be sent to you as soon as possible. If a replacement isn't possible, or if you prefer, we can issue a full refund instead.

FAULTY ADDRESSES & P.O. BOXES

if the order is returned to us due to faulty addresses, failure of the client to collect their order, or inability of the courier to deliver to P.O. boxes or Military bases only the value of the items and not the delivery will be returned. Please note that incorrect addresses or those written using special characters or Military Base addresses may cause a delay to the dispatch, cancellation of your order or returning of the item to us.

RE-POSTING RETURNED ORDERS

Ancientsmithy is not responsible for the cost of re-shipping an order which has been returned to us by no fault of our own or by a failure of the customer to pick up the parcel. We are happy to reship the items, however the cost of postage is the buyer's responsibility to cover again.

Wrong address supplied

You as a buyer are responsible for providing us with your correct address. Should you provide us with the wrong address, through no fault of our own and contact us after the item has been shipped to change the address, you will not be entitled to a refund or re-shipping unless the item is returned to us. If you have provided us with the correct address but we shipped it to the wrong one, we will ship a replacement out. It's only fair.

We do not give out full refunds or replacements for items used for more than 30 days.
